Content creator

About This Role
This is a growth role and would suit a person looking for a part time role now, with the opportunity of full time work in the future. As the digital publication grows in the region, so too will the resources required, and this role will be perfectly placed to increase hours with the view to eventually being full time.
The role is initially part-time with a minimum commitment of 5hrs per week required to ensure that our content channels are active and engaging.
Your goal will be to create industry-leading, engaging, and high performing content for our The Fold Eurobodalla region’s digital channels.
The role is work from home, as well as the requirement to be out and about around the Eurobodalla capturing content, including site visits with clients to capture content.
The Nuts and Bolts
- Create engaging and well-performing social media content (copywriting, image selection and scheduling).
- Create and publish ad hoc Instagram & Facebook stories to promote the area, cultivating audience reach and engagement.
- Create strong and engaging campaigns for our clients, delivered across our digital channels striving to achieve client objectives
- Take photos and capture short videos at client venues to use as part of their campaign.
The Laundry List of Capabilities Required
- You are fascinated by social media and love creating content, and you’re great at it!
- You can take a great photo! If not, you’re interested and willing to learn.
- You understand the importance of tone of voice and brand.
- You’re experienced in client relationship management (possibly an ex. agency exec).
- You love your region. You know what’s what and where’s where. You have good community relationships and are keen to build on them.
- You have a keen interest in digital marketing and media.
- You have a commitment to lifelong learning and you’re hungry to continuously improve our client’s campaigns.
- Happy to work from home
- Love where you live and feel passionate about helping it thrive
