Locals Who Love Acai: Meet the Family Behind Acai Avenue Batemans Bay
If you’ve ever wished you could grab a refreshing, antioxidant-packed Acai bowl while out and about in the Eurobodalla — you’re not alone. That craving led locals Naomi and Jiri, parents of three energetic kids, to launch one of the region’s coolest new food ventures: Acai Avenue Batemans Bay.
We're always on the road with the kids for sport, we’d always be on the lookout for Acai. It became our go-to snack — healthy, filling, and super tasty — but we could never find it locally.
So, they did what any passionate foodie family would do — they brought the Acai to us.
Now, every weekend, you’ll spot their colourful setup popping up around the Eurobodalla, serving vibrant, delicious Acai bowls to locals and visitors alike. Made with love (and a whole lot of superfoods), their bowls are a hit with everyone from early morning surfers to hungry teens and health-conscious mums.
Our mission is to offer something a little different — a healthy treat that feels like an indulgence but is packed with goodness and hopefully become a local favourite while we’re at it.
You’ll find Acai Avenue Batemans Bay at local markets, sporting events, and beachside spots — just check out their Instagram (@acaiavenue_bb) to see where they’re setting up next.
Planning a party or community event? Naomi and Jiri are always up for getting involved — whether it’s a sporting carnival, fundraiser, or even a beach wedding. Just reach out and book them in!
When they’re not slinging Acai, the family is soaking up everything they love about the Eurobodalla — the beaches, the laid-back lifestyle, the amazing local people, and the strong sense of community that makes this region such a gem.
So next time you're craving something cool, colourful and seriously good for you — you know who to look for.
