First formed in 1985, our not-for-profit, volunteer-run club has around 200 members and operates as an Incorporated Association with a Constitution and Committee overseeing administration. Funded by annual subscriptions, our insurance covers Personal Accident, Public Liability, and Associations Liability. We publish four Walks Programs per year, offering two walks a week of varying difficulty, and visitors are insured for up to three walks per financial year before joining via our Membership Form. Led by volunteer Walk Leaders equipped with GPS, topographic maps, and, when necessary, safety beacons, we take safety seriously, acknowledging the inherent risks of bushwalking. Each walk is graded for difficulty, and all participants sign a Responsibility Waiver beforehand. In addition to bushwalks, we host social activities and camps exclusively for members.
