Art & Culture in September

We’re a delightful arty bunch in the Eurobodalla, with a rich Art & Culture scene. Here’s what’s getting us excited this month.

A gallery wall showcases a vibrant collection of children's artwork, with two viewers admiring the colorful pieces displayed.

With September comes the much-loved River of Art Festival– a vibrant celebration of art, place and community that’s now in its 21st year!

The festival runs from Friday 26 September – Monday 6 October and brings together a rich program of open studios, workshops, exhibitions, live events and, of course, the big one– the 2025 River of Art Prize.

Explore the full program of events below and start planning your festival journey.

Another exciting exhibition for the diary, and one that’s sure to pluck your nostalgic strings: The Wonderful World of Dr Seuss. A private collection of limited-edition Dr Seuss prints will be on display at The Basil Sellers Exhibition Centre, courtesy of Gary Smith AM.
This is a rare opportunity to see a collection of Dr Seuss limited-edition prints up close. Step inside a world of colour, curiosity and imagination- where anything is possible.

If you have an event you’d like to see included in our monthly Arts & Culture wrap, you can add your FREE event listing here
