How good is summer in the Eurobodalla?
With gorgeous sunshine, stunning beaches, and so many fun things to do, it’s hard not to feel lucky to call this place home.
We’ve rounded up 5 awesome ways to make the most of the season, from visiting a local brewery to self-care moments, water activities and more!
Let’s go!
1 :: Treat Your Skin
If your skin took a bit of a hit from the stress of the silly season [we get it], it’s probably time to show it some TLC.
Cosmetics By The Beach in Broulee offers a holistic approach to skin health, with personalised treatments for all kinds of concerns.
From hydrafacials and dermaplaning to skin needling, LED light therapy, and peels, there are plenty of ways to get that fresh skin feeling.
They also offer non-invasive cosmetic treatments to tackle fine lines, wrinkles, volume loss, and dull skin.
We’ll be booking in for one of everything, please!
2 :: Sip On A Frothie
Summer and brewskis are a most excellent combo!
Especially when we’re sipping on one of the crisp fresh beers available at Broulee Brewhouse.
Right on the water, it’s a great shout for a pre/post swim sip sesh and we can personally vouch for the top-notch food here as well. Burgers, seafood, salads and even options for the kiddos.
Grab a bevvie and a bite, plonk yourself down in the beer garden and make the most of this super friendly [and family-friendly] local brewery.
Such a special treasure in our region with loads to explore.
Start with brekkie and a cuppa at Mossy on Gardens Café, make sure to snag a spot on the verandah for maximum garden views.
Next, pick one [or more] of the five different walks and get trekking. If you’re with little ones, we recommend the Aboriginal Heritage Walk. It passes the playground and is nice and flat, making it perfect for prams.
Bigger kids can tackle the Forestry Children’s Walk, along with the other three tracks available.
There’s also a picnic area and free BBQs, plus they offer guided walks on the first Sunday of every month!
4 :: Beach Bums
With so many beautiful beaches in our region, it’s no surprise we’ll be spending most of our summer on the sand.
We’ve got a lot to choose from [83 to be exact!], but here are a few we recommend: Narooma Surf Beach, Dalmeny Beach, Tuross Head Main Beach, Moruya South Head Beach, Moruya North Beach, Broulee South Beach, Malua Bay Beach, and Surf Beach.
These beaches are usually patrolled every day during summer and on weekends the rest of the year.
5 :: Paddle Away
Staying on the water (literally), kayaking and paddleboarding are popular pastimes in our region, especially when the weather warms up.
Head to a local hire company to grab a boat or board, then get out there and paddle the waves.
If you’re new to the sport or want to try something different, there are plenty of local tour companies that can take you to lesser-known spots and offer lessons for first-timers.
Okay pals, you’ve got the inspo now get out there and make the most of summer in the Eurobodalla!
