HARS Aviation Museum
An aviation museum, located at Illawarra Regional Airport, is just over one hours drive south of Sydney, providing the unique opportunity to access many aircraft and to see restorations in progress. Highly acclaimed collection of lovingly restored aircraft including: Lockheed Super Constellation Boeing 747-400, City of Canberra - London to Sydney non stop record holder F-111C supersonic Fighter Bomber Southern Cross II Lockheed AP-3C Orion Douglas DC3 and DC4. The Museum will soon be home to the Qantas Boeing 707 which has been donated by John Travolta. Over 40 aircraft associated with Australia’s civil and military aviation heritage.

HARS Aviation Museum is located just over an hours drive from Sydney and is a short 10 minute walk from the train station at Albion Park Rail. Open daily, except Christmas Day and tours of the Museum are escorted by a Tour Guide. Illawarra Regional Airport is also the venue of the annual Wings Over Illawarra Airshow.
Museum History
The Historical Aircraft Restoration Society Inc (HARS) is a not-for-profit organisation and was formed in 1979 by a group of aviation enthusiasts interested in the preservation of Australian aviation history.
Entry Cost:
$15 to $20
Entry to Museum is by way of fully guided tour, including partial access to 747-400. Family Pass is AUD55.
