McDonald’s Albion Park
Australia’s first McDonald’s restaurant opened in Yagoona, Sydney, in 1971. Today there are over 1,025 McDonald’s restaurants across Australia, nearly 85 percent of which are franchised and run by local businessmen and women. The organisation employs more than 110,000 people in restaurants and corporate offices Australia-wide and is the largest employer of youth in the country. McDonald’s creates more than 3,000 new jobs each year and spends over $40 million per annum on training and people development.
McDonald’s Australia has opened a new restaurant in Albion Park (141 Tongarra Road, Albion Park NSW 2527), injecting over $12.8 million into the local economy and creating over 100 jobs across crew, barista and maintenance.
McDonald’s Albion Park will be hosting a grand opening from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday 14 October with face painting, games, McDonald’s merchandise and vouchers giveaway with i98 Street Fleet, and offers including a $2 standard McCafé coffee* and $1.50 Cheeseburger* via the MyMacca’s app until Sunday 22 October.

“The new restaurant will provide customers with a friendly and convenient place to access food and drinks, whether they’re popping in for a quick coffee or staying for lunch.

The new restaurant is fitted with modern décor and features a McCafé, dual lane drive thru, McDelivery room, alfresco dining, PlayPlace and party room for customers to enjoy.
McDonald’s Albion Park is fully equipped with solar panels, a heat recovery water system and LED lights, helping to reduce emissions and energy use in the restaurant.
