International Women’s Day In The Illawarra

International Women’s Day is rolling around again, and the Illawarra is showing up in all the best ways.

Each year on March 8th, communities across the globe pause to recognise the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women – and to keep pushing for progress where it’s still needed. 

Here in the Illawarra, that looks like packed-out breakfasts, panel conversations with local leaders, community gatherings, creative workshops and fundraisers supporting women doing incredible work on the ground.
