Welcome to Driving Miss Daisy Wollongong Central. The owners Bethany and Adam are a vibrant and energetic couple with a young family who live in and love the Wollongong community. Our mission is to assist individuals in sustaining their independence and ease the feeling of loneliness through companionship and maintaining connection to family, friends and community.

With no job too big or too small we look forward to collecting you from your door, taking you anywhere you need to go, being your companion for anything you need or want to do and delivering you home safely.

Our service stands apart from taxis and drive share kerb to kerb vehicles. We provide a safe, reliable, and friendly companion driving service offering more than just transportation. Each franchise owner and all drivers are vetted by the Australian Police, are First Aid and Friends of Dementia trained, Working with Children checked (WWCC) and hold a Small Passenger Vehicle License giving you and your family peace of mind.

Driving Miss Daisy itself provides detailed operations manuals and applies stringent work health safety standards with particular emphasis on compliance with the COVID.

Driving Miss Daisy Wollongong is a local companion driving service, offering door to door transport for people who need a bit of extra support and care - whether in the disability community, aged care sector, children or a wide range of others who need more than just an A to B service.

Owner of the business, Bethany Paterson, left her career in corporate working for a major insurance brand in Sydney, to start a heart-led business that is genuinely helping people live better lives.

Unlike a taxi service or community service, Driving Miss Daisy tailors each trip to the individual - and drivers will even wait with their clients if a GP appointment is delayed,  or join them on a walk, for a coffee or even on a day out. It's as much about companionship as it is about transport.
