Who is OddProd?
OddProd is a small family of like minded people who came together in the month of june 2022 to solve a pressing issue facing our country. We at OddProd are passionate about creating innovative products and services that truly help as many people as possible. We see a future where humanity's relationship with food is a healthy and simplified one. We believe that in a world where starvation is still a global issue, food should not be needlessly wasted due to supermarkets' aesthetic standards.
What do we do?
We at OddProd are dedicated to making affordable, high-quality food more accessible while helping break the cycle of food waste. We work directly with farmers located in the NSW area to rescue fruit and veg that might otherwise go to waste, then deliver them to your door, all while saving you valuable money. Every OddProd box you order benefits farmers, helps prevent food waste, saves money from your pocket and saves your time wasted on grocery shopping.
How did we start?
As the Founder of OddProd I have always been passionate about innovation, sustainability and helping others so starting OddProd seemed like a no brainer. However, This sad fact is really what started it all: an estimated 40% of what’s grown in Australia never leaves the farm because it doesn’t meet the superficial standards of a traditional grocery store. Because we work closely with farmers we know just how much this food wastage affects them as a business and as people who are passionate about their produce. These factors are what struck the dedication we have today to fight food wastage in Australia. By being committed to fighting food waste, we plan to end farmed food wastage in Australia, but we can only do it with your help.
What's our story?
As a recent university graduate I founded OddProd in june 2022 out of my own garage. Since then I have been hyper focused on providing a product that could solve a number of problems for the people of NSW and one that could benefit the environment as well. From communicating with manufacturers, graphic designers, logistic managers, potential customers and a whole network of farmers I was finally able to bring a product that I loved to life. Today, although still small, our brand has grown and our network of farmers and customers is growing even more, however we still need you, our future customers, to help in further growing our brand to help people all across NSW and eventually end food wastage across Australia.
