Description
Eden is a well-known fishing port, with direct ocean access and shelter from prevailing winds – perfect for all kinds of fishing.
With a massive boat ramp, floating jetty and breakwall at Quarantine Bay, you can be out to sea and amongst all the reef action in no time at all.
Quarantine Bay is a sheltered part of Twofold Bay, with amenities, a jetty and a boat ramp.
Facilities include three lanes, a floating jetty, a timber jetty, a wash-down area, a cleaning station and toilets.
The scenic beach is virtually wave-free, bordered by a break wall at one end and natural rock at the other.
There is a boat shed, as well as amenities and shady places to sit.
While peaceful and ringing bellbird calls, there is always something to watch on the water, as the bay is home to a four-lane boat ramp, Quarantine Bay Yacht Club, and the Eden Amateur Fishermen’s Club.
The bay is also a trackhead for the 1.8-kilometre Bundian Way Story Trail, an ancient and interpretative walk that can be accessed from the Eden Amateur Fishing Club car park, or Cocora Beach.
To find Quarantine Bay, drive south from Eden on the Princes Highway for three kilometres, then turn left onto Quarantine Bay Road.
