Craving a killer cocktail? It’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right? The Sapphire Coast has no shortage of amazing venues serving up everything from classic concoctions to creative new blends. Whether you’re after a chic spot for date night or a laid-back bar with ocean views, we’ve rounded up the spots to enjoy a drink (or two!). How does sipping cocktails with adorable Highland cows sound? Head to North of Eden, where the gin flows as smoothly as the lush rolling hills around you.

With a fantastic outdoor area, you can enjoy a handcrafted cocktail while soaking up the atmosphere [and play spot the cow!], you’re even welcome to bring your own picnic nibbles!

Whether you’re a devoted gin enthusiast or simply love a well-crafted cocktail, put North of Eden Gin Distillery on your list.

Okay so we know these guys know their italian food but did you know they also shake a mean cocktail? Book ahead, grab a spot at the bar and stay a while.

Is there a sweeter combination of words than Happy Hour? We think not but we’ll take a stab- how does a cocktail bar, bottomless Sundays and a fantastic harbour view sound?

Perched atop the Bermagui wharf, Harbar boasts a delicious selection of cocktails and relaxed vibes. Happy hour is every Friday from 4-6pm.

New York meets Merimbula, where the tunes are almost as delicious as the cocktails. You’re in for a treat with this crew where humble sophistication comes to play.

Their menu is vast but their friendly and knowledgeable staff are always there to pilot and pour, in libation.

They’re a Merimbula staple for a reason right? You can’t think of cocktails and not think of Dulcies.

From the lush bar [and even lusher jacaranda tree] and soft western vibes to the open and lively outdoor spaces, it’s a great spot for any kind of time and when you know you need the cocktail-big-leagues.

Overlooking stunning water views this one hatted restaurant needn’t be overlooked when it comes to their cocktails.

Their cocktail menu feels considered, fresh and modern and deserves a trip just dedicated to their tipple alone.

This little hidden gem is located inside Club Sapphire and is named after the inaugural Lady President of the Merimbula Imlay Women’s Bowling Club, Kitty Travers.

The bar lives up to her name with an extensive cocktail menu and plenty of stylishly designed spaces perfect for group gatherings.

Little Alice is located in the Galleria connecting Market street to Alice street by the RSL Carpark. A great spot if you prefer to sip on your cocktails outside without weather being an issue.

The cocktail menu is fun and cheeky with a great mix of classics and new twists. It’s a sprawling space so this one is good if you’re planning a group night out and there’s always events and things going on with Happy Hour from 4.30pm every day.

Just make sure not to follow any white rabbits or talking purple cats if you happen to see one…

Open from the first Friday in December the South Seas Pool Club is definitely going on our Summer bucket list!

Expect a basic but solid cocktail menu, comfy lounges and sun beds, funky tunes and the star of the show [duh], a gorgeous big pool daring you to jump into. Cool off, sip, sun and repeat.

Wheelers may be most well known for their oysters [farm to plate realness] but they’re also masterful with a cocktail shaker.

Whether you’re a sucker for the classics or something more contemporary, they’ve got you covered. It’s a great way to start a night out!

You’ll find cocktails made from their small-batch spirits and a friendly welcoming vibe at 9 Circles Distillery. Open daily [except Mondays and Tuesdays], it’s a great spot to unwind, catch up with friends, and sip on a crafted drink.

These guys dabble in gin, vodka and whiskey so we reckon you’re in safe hands!

Dubbed the “biggest little brewery” on the NSW Sapphire Coast they’ve got a delicious little cocktail menu that stands up against its brewed brothers.

You’re spoilt for choice in terms of areas to pitch up and rest [wink wink] a while and it’s a family and doggo friendly, relaxed-feel kind of a place.
