5 Awesome Things To Do On The Sapphire Coast This Summer

SHARE

How good is summer on the Sapphire Coast?

With sunshine, beautiful beaches, and so many fun things to do, we really do live in an amazing spot to kick back and enjoy the season.

We’ve rounded up 5 awesome ways to make the most of summer, from foodie feasts to gigs, self-care moments, and more.

Let’s go!

1 :: Workout In The Great Outdoors

Make the most of all that glorious sunshine by taking your next sweat sesh outside.

Tarryn Lucas Fitness offers outdoor classes in both Merimbula and Tathra and you can choose from options like Barbell, Stretch and Strengthen, Boxing, HIIT and Older Active classes, plus more.

And they’ve got plenty of indoor class options as well for those not-so-ideal weather days.

Booking is simple and can be done through their website

2 :: Catch Some Live Music

Hitting up a gig in summer is next-level, especially when you’re groovin’ out in the sunshine or boogying under the stars on a classic balmy night.

That’s why we’re absolutely OBSESSED with the amazing Four Winds Venue. It’s such a special spot right here in our backyard.

With a fab mix of acts, from indie artists to orchestral groups, crooners, and everything in between, there’s something for every kind of muso to enjoy.

You can check the program and book your tix through their website.

3 :: Get Mixed Up At Gin School

Just because it’s Summer and the school holidays doesn’t mean the learning has to stop.

But this isn’t your usual school… it’s Gin School!

At North of Eden, you’ll learn the art of distillation, pick from over 30 botanicals, and craft your own gin. Enjoy gin & tonics, a grazing platter, a distillery tour, and take home your 700ml creation.

This is the kind of education we can get behind!

4 :: Take Some Time To Align

Summer can get pretty hectic, especially after the silly season. So why not take some time out for yourself to calm both your mind and body?

INU Clinic in Merimbula offers holistic wellness services that support mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.

Their Sound Bath sessions are a relaxing experience that helps clear blocked energy, realign chakras, and leave you feeling rejuvenated and deeply connected.

5 :: Festival Fun

We’re so pumped for the Eat Festival this year! While it’s not technically in summer, it’s at the start of March, which is practically still in season so we’re counting it, hehe.

Four whole days of paddock-to-plate and tide-to-table experiences that celebrate the food, the heritage, and the stunning natural beauty of the Sapphire Coast.

How awesome is that?!

There’s loads of foodie goodness to check out, like shucking school, craft beer journeys, and the totally fun-sounding oyster and spoon race… though we’re not sure how anyone could resist eating the oysters before the race even starts!

Right peeps, you’ve got the inspo now get out there and make the most of summer on the Sapphire Coast!
