Homewares Shopping On The Sapphire Coast

SHARE

There really is no place like home.

And after the past few years of putting our spaces through their paces, home might look a little, well… tired.

Maybe you’re over that chipped teacup from a wedding gift ages ago, your dining table’s seen one too many school bag landings, or there’s a blank spot in the hallway that’s just screaming for some love.

No worries, we’ve tracked down 16 incredible homewares stores right here on the Sapphire Coast to give your space the freshen-up it deserves.

Oh, and bonus!

These spots and more are waiting for you in our Shop Local Directory.

Everything here has been beautifully and carefully curated to create a selection of stylish and artistic pieces.

Check out their online shop for some fab finds, or take advantage of their awesome property styling services and let the team give your home a fresh new look.

They can do anything from a total makeover to a quick zhush up, and they also offer styling services for folks selling their home or even for holiday homes and Airbnbs.

Seaside Trader brings together stylish homewares, clothing, and self-care essentials all in one place.

Whether you’re a fan of that beachy boho vibe, a relaxed coastal retreat, or even quirky, modern country style, they’ve got it all.

Visit the store in Merimbula or even have a browse online.

Run by two friends, Kirsty and Kylie, who are passionate about supporting Australian-made and locally sourced products.

There’s so much to explore in this Bega store, from the perfect kitchen touches and stylish bathroom products to playful bits and bobs for the kiddos.

If you’re partial to a quality wooden statement piece then you’ll most definitely be impressed with this Bega store.

Think reclaimed furniture, carved sculptures and natural materials everywhere.

Seriously stunning.

Vintage lovers rejoice because Maggie and Rosie’s Antique Emporium in Bega has all the goods.

Pick up a new [well, actually old] piece of furniture for your home or just some sweet accents to add an antique touch.

A genuine treasure trove worth visiting over and over again.

Firstly, let’s just say we’re obsessed with the name of this Bermagui vintage store, which carries furniture, clothes, collectables, and photographs. Ugh, so good!

Secondly, we’re absolutely in love with all the amazing finds here, from retro tiki to 70s chic, Australiana, and so much more.

Loads of greenery, loads of gorgeousness, and loads of goodies to make your spaces pop!

We love the coastal vibes here with rattan pieces, ocean-inspired art, and beach-friendly finds like picnicware and sunshades.

Head down to Bermagui and start browsing.

Not only does Twig and Feather in Cobargo look good, but it smells good too!

The home fragrance diffusers and natural soy and palm wax candles are made right on the premises.

You’ll also find a lovely range of homewares, from country style to classic and contemporary, plus extras like giftware, garden goods, and toys.

We’re totally impressed with the fact that we can dress ourselves and our homes all in one place.

We’re also totally impressed with the range available, from dark edgy sculptures to coastal colours and natural elements.

Find this one on Market St in Merimbula.

We reckon a visit to Oaklands Barn is a total day out on its own.

Browse the gift shop for homewares, hit up the Garden Centre for seeds, trees, flowers, pots, fertilisers, composts, mulches and garden tools, head on over to the stockfeed store to keep your animals well-fed and then do the same for yourself at the Oaklands Cafe.

Afterwards grab some tasty treats to take home from the pantry, take a wander through the art gallery and reward yourself with a tipple from Longstocking Brewery!

Sounds like a dream day to us!

With a name like Lorikeet Lane, you just know colour is gonna be the star of the show at this one-of-a-kind boutique in Merimbula.

From fair trade and ethically made products to Aboriginal art there’s a lot to get excited about here.

Their travel range is also worth a mention, allowing you to take all that colour with you wherever you go.

Locals supporting locals is the heart of this retail collective.

Initiated by the Merimbula Chamber of Commerce, this spot brings together vendors offering eco-friendly products, locally branded goods, photography and art, upcycled furniture, vintage homewares, furniture paint, and accessories.

Community at its finest.

Part art gallery, part homewares store and part cafe, but all up an awesome place to shop at.

They showcase over 60 local artists and makers, along with a handpicked range of wonderful

Australian-designed, eco-friendly, and fair trade homewares, gifts, and accessories.

This combo store featuring Robert Smith and Homemakers furniture is HA-UUUUGE. There is something here for every room in the house…. maybe even twice over. Pair your visit with a trip to the nearby Panboola Wetlands for a day of retail therapy with a side of natural therapy as well.

We’re not 100% sure if we just wanna shop here or actually move in and live here.

Mechanics Warehouse in Pambula is packed with incredible finds, all carefully chosen/created by owner Yeedah and her talented merchants.

It’s the kind of place where you want to grab everything in sight and take it home without even stopping to check the price.

We’re putting indoor plants high up on our homewares list, and Botanic Bower makes it impossible not to.

There’s a ton of stunning greenery to check out, plus all the practical, cute, and stylish plant accessories you could need.

The staff are absolute legends too, happily sharing advice for even the blackest of thumbs [guilty as charged].

So, whether your place needs a full makeover or just a light touch-up, these stores are a great place to start.

Keep the good times rolling by heading to our Shop Local Directory and discover even more fantastic finds!
