Platypus Waterhole is rented out as one site exclusive for the booking.

This is an exclusive private camping area on the beautiful Blackheath Creek. The camping area has a fantastic shelter/camp kitchen with an internal fireplace, wood-fired stove, sink, running water and a preparation area together with a gas barbeque and large dining table with bench seats. There is hot water and an open-air shower. A long drop toilet is located nearby.

At night the shelter is lit by solar-powered lights and the glow of the campfire. The shelter is accessible by 4WD. Dogs are not permitted. Limited firewood is provided.
