Cherry Cottage has everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable stay in Bowral. The cottage has been furnished with style and care. The owners have a flair for mixing decor with traditional and eclectic, and it makes a home that is interesting, with a home away from home feel. All of the furniture is high quality and very comfortable. We were there in June (10 degrees) and the cottage was warm & snug with hydronic heating throughout, and electric blankets, as well as a gas fireplace in the loungeroom, which just added to the overall cosiness.
The kitchen is fully equipped and there are 3 modern bathrooms. The home is spotlessly clean and well maintained.
Front and back verandahs provide peaceful areas to sit and enjoy the gardens and well maintained yards.
The artwork in the home is amazing. And if you like it you can buy it off the owner!
The cottage is a short drive to the main street (it would be a nice walk) to the shops, cafes, restaurants etc. Cherry Cottage was exactly as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and will be back.

Stepping across the threshold you have arrived to a visual fest of exquisite country decor & jaw dropping artwork. Cherry Cottage immediately makes you feel like you have just been hugged & invites you to kick  off your shoes & make yourself at home. As you move through the cottage every room tells a story of colour & comfort lovingly chosen.
You make your way through & arrive to the generous covered back veranda & a winter garden alive with daffodils & pansies  overseen by cheeky garden bunnies….and if that is not enough there is the self contained cottage on the grounds for a truly romantic hideaway or parent’s retreat.
Whilst Bowral and surrounds await, you are looking for any excuse to stay in. Hosts have thought of everything so all there was left for us to do was pour a glass of wine & settle around the fire.
    Cannot wait to return.

House & Land Packages – Easy Choice Or Hidden Obstacles?
Property

The Southern Highlands features a number of large and smaller land developments in the Moss Vale, Bowral and Mittagong areas. These are commonly known as `greenfield’ developments and feature master planned infrastructure – such as below-ground power, internet cabling, water and gas already installed and ready to go.

Builders and developers also take advantage of these greenfield opportunities by offering house & land packages – a sort-of `off-the-shelf’ option.
