“AWASH” is back again!

 

For more than ten years, a group of Southern Highlands artists with a passion for watercolour has been meeting regularly to practise and delight in this difficult and elusive medium.  Watercolour has unique challenges, not least of all allowing pigment and paper to do their exciting thing while being coaxed by a practised hand.

 

Our mentors over the years have guided us to create paintings that sing; that are transparent and fresh; and reflect good design principles. Most of all, to let go so that the medium can do its magic. 

 

The “Tuesday Watercolour Group” is delighted to exhibit the best of our endeavours in “Awash with Colour 2025”.  The group has once again produced works that are better than ever.  

 

The official opening will be at 3.30pm on Saturday 25th October.

We would love to share the excitement of watercolour with you and hope you will join us then or visit the gallery during the exhibition.
