Highlands AFL commenced on 11 May 2025 and runs until the end of September 2025.

Programs are on Sundays at Welby Oval in Welby

Some call it organised chaos but we call it really good fun.

With NAB AFL Auskick, we believe game-based activities make for more active and confident kiddos. And to ensure safe and fair play, we divide Auskickers by age and have optional all-girls groups. They’ll get comfortable on the footy field, while laughing and learning along the way.

Sessions run only one hour per week, and there’s no need for expensive kit, Auskickers can wear whatever they’re comfortable in.

Auskick (4-7 year olds) Sundays at 9am

An intro to Australian Football and invaluable life skills.
With game-based activities kids love, learning is disguised as playing. You don’t need Aussie Rules experience to have a go!

Superkick (8-12 year olds) Sundays at 10am

NAB AFL Superkick is a modified version of AFL that focuses on skill development for 7-to-12-year-olds.

That means - tackle free (tag), highly social, shorter seasons and no additional training required.

It’s a great way for those with zero or limited experience to get introduced to AFL and for those current or past players who want to keep fit and play some footy with friends.
