Description
Southern Highlands Evening (SHE) branch of Country Womens Association (CWA) is a community group for working women who want to belong to an organisation that makes a difference.
Southern Highlands Evening Branch of the CWA of NSW was formed in November 2011 for women who preferred an evening meeting and to complement the day branches in the district.
The branch has grown quickly into a dynamic and vibrant organisation representing a wide variety of ages, interests and skills.
There is something for everyone; you are most welcome to join us for an evening and share our meeting and entertainment.
Local Meetings
Local meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month and often have an entertaining guest speaker or special event, such as celebrating another culture. There are many roles available to members in their areas of interest, such as handicrafts, cookery, culture, agriculture, medical issues, overseas projects and the Royal Agricultural Show.
Events
SHE organises regular social events including dinners, movies and excursions. There is also the opportunity to support other community events and each year, a charity is chosen to be the focus for fundraising activities.
CWA
The Country Women's Association is a highly respected women's organisation, bringing women together for over 100 years in support of each other and the community.
