We are lucky enough to have an abundance of those right here in The Highlands.

So to make it easier for you to shop and support local as much as you can, we’ve popped all our fab Southern Highlands market details here into one spot!

Weekend Markets

Colo Vale Village Market
1st Saturday, 8.30am – 1.30pm

Lots of yummy fresh fruit and veggies with kids entertainment to keep little ones busy, Colo Vale is a bargain hunter’s paradise with bric-a-brac and quaint stalls of treasures waiting to be claimed.

Exeter Village Market
1st Saturday, 9am – 1.30pm

Busy and bustling Exeter Village Market has a delightful mix of handmade goods and treats, homewares, fashion and fresh produce. Add in a bit of bric-a-brac with a beautiful village backdrop and you have the quintessential country market experience.

Bundanoon Makers Market
1st and 3rd Sunday, 8.30am – 2pm

Held at the local primary school, Bundanoon Makers Market celebrates the skills of these talented creative stallholders. From soap to scarves, clothes to cakes, and a special kids market for young entrepreneurs on specific dates, there is something for everyone here.

The New Bowral Market – Bowral Bowling Club
2nd Saturday, 9am – 1pm

If you like your market mornings relaxed but still packed with good finds, this is your spot. Around 65–70 stalls roll into Bowral Bowling Club each month, bringing a tidy mix of artisan food, local fashion, handmade jewellery and homewares worth clearing shelf space for.
‘Growers Lane’ is a standout! Fresh produce, fresh seafood and enough ingredients to sort dinner on the way through. It’s friendly, easy to navigate and big on supporting local makers, charities and young entrepreneurs. A solid Highlands Saturday without the chaos.

Bowral Bowling Club, 40 Shepherd Street, Bowral

The New Bowral School Market – Bowral Public School
4th Saturday, 9am – 2pm

This is the big one. More than 100 stalls take over Bowral Public School, making it the largest monthly market in the Highlands, and it shows.
Expect rows of well-presented artisan stalls, from fashion and jewellery to homewares and gourmet bites, plus a produce section that feels more farmers’ market than side offering (yes, seafood included). It’s busy in the best way. Prams, dogs, coffee cups, tote bags filling fast.
With strong ties to local charities and youth programs, it’s a market with heart… and one that draws a crowd for good reason.

Bowral Public School, 47 Bendooley Street, Bowral 

Robertson Country Market
2nd Sunday, 8.30am – 2pm

Treasure hunters and bargain hunters will be in their element at Robertson Markets. From bric-a-brac through to homemade baked goods, Robertson offers up a quaint market experience in a country environment.

School of Arts Hall, 55 Hoddle Street, Robertson 

Kangaroo Valley Farmers Market
2nd Sunday, 9am – 1pm

Supporting local growers and makers with a strong emphasis on sustainability, the markets are run by the Friendly Inn Community Garden Committee. A great place to stock up on pantry staples, fresh produce and grab a unique gift.

Mittagong Markets
3rd & 5th Saturday, 8am – 2pm

A favourite with local green thumbs, Mittagong Markets has a huge range of plants, garden art and outdoor sculptures available. Also great for gift shopping, there is plenty of delicious home baked treats to tantalise tastebuds too.

Handmade In The Highlands
3rd Saturday, 10am – 2pm

Set among the rolling vines of Centennial Vineyards, Handmade in the Highlands is your monthly excuse for a vineyard wander with a side of shopping.
Held on the third Saturday of the month (with the final date on 18 July), this curated market brings together a talented mix of local makers and gourmet producers.
Free entry, family-friendly and with wine tasting and dining on site, it’s very easy to turn this one into a long lunch.

Country Markets at Peppers Manor House
4th Saturday, 9am – 1pm

Lots of local handmade and artisan goodies here. Wander the stalls whilst taking in the lovely atmosphere of Peppers Manor House. Furry friends on leads are welcome. Afterwards relax on the lawn with live music and a yummy charcuterie board, cheese platter or high tea.

Berrima Schoolyard Markets
4th Sunday, 9am – 1pm

A busy market with a buzzy vibe, Berrima has lots to keep all ages occupied. Kids entertainment, live music and delicious food options provide the perfect backdrop for a large range of stalls, produce, goodies and gifts.

Weekday Markets

Railway Street Fresh Food & Produce Market
Every Thursday, 3pm – 5.30pm

This authentic, community-run micro market champions locally grown, regenerative produce. Think fresh seasonal fruit and veg, eggs, sourdough, honey, preserves and more, all direct from the growers. Bring your bags and shop local.

Closed for two weeks over January. 

Railway Street, Moss Vale

Co-op Growers Market, Bowral
Every Thursday, 3pm – 5.30pm

The Co-op Growers Market is your new weekly go-to for seasonal produce and genuine community connection. Held every Thursday from 3pm, it brings together local growers and locals who care about where their food comes from.

85 Kirkham Road, Bowral
