As a special treat and to help fight that isolation boredom, two Southern Highlands artists have provided us with an original illustration for you to print and colour.
Click on the images below, print out, relax, colour and enjoy!
Colouring isn’t just for the little kids. It’s for us big ones, too.
There’s a reason adult colouring books are now a thing. Colouring in helps busy adults take some much-needed time out, can reduce stress and anxiety and is a [very pretty!] form of mindfulness.
And right now? We could all use a bit of that.
So, tap into that creativity, get the juices flowing, sharpen those pencils and bring some colour into lockdown life!
VIRGINIA BOYLE
Inspired by the flora and fauna surrounding her Bundanoon home, Virginia Boyle creates small, intricate forest scenes, animals, birds, and anthropomorphic creatures.
Her work is decorative, highly detailed, with obsessive patterning (it can take her up to three months to complete just one drawing).
Virginia has kindly provided one of her detailed drawings for us to enjoy colouring. Click here to download your own copy to colour.
You can learn more about local artist Virginia Boyle here and follow her on her Facebook page.

ZOE BINDER
Southern Highlands designer, artist and photographer Zoe Binder’s botanical illustrations have a simple and feminine aesthetic.
She draws inspiration from her connection to the natural world, which has been an important part of her practice since growing up on the edge of the Morton National Park.
Zoe has generously designed a beautiful graphic for us to relax with. Click here to download your own copy to colour.
You can see more of Zoe’s illustrations here and follow her on Instagram.
And Zoe’s prints are available to buy at Berrima Village Pottery – fabulous!
