Where To Sink An Irish Ale on St Patrick’s Day In The Southern Highlands

Celebrate The Luck Of The Irish With An Irish Frothy.

SHARE

Ahhhh…St Patrick’s Day. The day when everyone seems to suddenly have some distant DNA connection to the Emerald Isle!!

We love the Irish.

What with all their good luck, pots of gold and fine tasting ale, we certainly don’t mind celebrating all things Irish on St Patrick’s Day with, for and because of them!

So, if you can’t get your hands on a pot of gold on the 17th of March, perhaps hitting up a local bar or pub to sip on an Irish Ale is gonna be the next best thing.

Here’s where to go and what to order.

1 The Fold Southern Highlands St Patricks Day Pubs

Eden Brewery

The team at Eden will be celebrating St Patty’s Day with their dark stout as well as some fun sounding entertainment.

Head on over on Friday, 14th March for Irish-inspired live music, burgers & cocktails. Be sure [to be sure] to book!

Bundanoon Hotel

Get your Irish on at the Bundanoon Hotel! Tuck into hearty Irish-inspired dishes like Braised Guinness Pie and Corned Beef with all the trimmings – plus plenty of Guinness to wash it down.

2 The Fold Southern Highlands St Patricks Day Events

Mittagong RSL

Mittagong RSL will be bringing all the hits from The Corrs, U2, Van Morrison, and more with Celtic Beat – Legends of Ireland on Sunday, 16th March. Sounds like a good time to us!

Moss Vale Hotel

The Pinky’s going green this St. Paddy’s Day. There’s live Irish tunes, Guinness on tap, and a hearty Beef & Guinness Pie to tuck into.

Bowral Bowling Club

Bowral Bowling Club is getting into the Irish spirit all weekend long, starting this Thursday! Grab $10 pints of Guinness and dig into a hearty Guinness pie. What more could you want?

Robertson Public House

St. Patrick’s Day is going off at The Robertson Pub.  Open Mic is back, and We Mavericks are bringing the tunes to get you in the spirit. With Loki Hines hosting, it’s set to be a night of music, laughs, and probably a Guinness or two.

The Potters Pantry Cafe

The Potters Pantry Cafe in Bundanoon are serving up a St. Paddy’s Day feast! Their festive share box is packed with cured meats, artisan cheeses, green goodies, and a golden sweet potato & cashew dip. Yum! Plus a few cheeky choc coins for a lucky treat! Sláinte!
