A Country Pub With ALL The Things!
It’s one of the oldest pubs in the Highlands (established in 1887) bursting with personality.
We reckon Robertson Public House & Kitchen is one relaxing place to pull up a pew, kick back for a bevvie, listen to some live music, host a shindig, stay overnight, sip on a cocktail and chow down on some pretty kickarse food……. here’s why.

1 :: Cosy, country-style accommodation
Yep, you can stay onsite! Upstairs there are four gorgeous newly renovated rooms – choose from a triple room, two queen rooms and a fab family room.
How good is walking up the stairs to bed when last drinks are called??

2 :: Kickarse food done really bloody well
We love the menu at the Robertson Public House & Kitchen.
No one (NO ONE!) is going to go hungry here.
Support a local farmer and order the delicious 500g Mauger’s T-Bone steak or get your parmie on! Topped with triple smoked ham, melted mozzarella and freshly made napolitana sauce – droooool!

3 :: Home of Highlander Beer
The pub serves up the delicious small-batch craft brew, whipped up by the Highlander Beer guys who are also in Robbo.
Order a pint of Pale Ale or Lager on tap and pat yourself on the back for supporting a local brewery!

4 :: Such a great spot for a relaxed and rustic wedding
The Robertson Public House & Kitchen can sure dress up and do pretty when it wants to, making it the perfect spot for an intimate country style wedding.
Imagine the fireplace roaring, the gorgeous exposed beams lit up with twinkling lights, long tables, delicious food and drinks flowing.
You can have your ceremony on site too or at a private garden on a stunning estate less than ten minutes away.
It’s easy to make amazing memories in such stunning surroundings.

5 :: And awesome for private functions too
It’s not just about weddings!
The guys have some fabulous private rooms and hiring options for other special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and more.
Choose from hiring out the Winston Bar, booking the Fitzroy Lounge or Maynards Dining Room, or for bigger events, the gorgeous Carrington Room out the back.
Loads of packages to choose from or the team can create something bespoke for you.

6 :: Open fireplaces to keep us warm and snuggly
Is it even a country pub if it doesn’t have an open fireplace or two or three to sip a delicious red wine and share a cheese platter in front of?
The Robertson House & Kitchen can keep you warm with their crackling fireplaces!

7 :: Quirky stories
When you’ve been around since 1887, you gather up some fun and quirky stories and characteristics, right?
We love Ben Quilty’s sketches on the walls and the beautiful, old creaky floorboards.
Roll up to Winston’s Bar and you’ll be sure to meet a local who has a few yarns to tell about the ‘Robbo Pub’.

8 :: Awesome events
The team are always up for a party or interesting event and it’s so cool to see things like book talks, communty Christmas parties, ladies long lunches and all sorts of special experiences back on their event program.
Oh, and don’t miss Wednesday Night Nacho’s – a MUST!
9 :: Live and local
We LOVE LOVE LOVE that live music is back!
Head to the Robertson Public House & Kitchen on a weekend, settle in with a cold one out on the deck and listen to local singers and bands. Live and local, people – love it!
Check their socials for who’s playing and when!

10 :: Oooooh, there’s a new gin in town!
We were lucky enough to head to the launch of this cracking new gin and it’s a winner! Robertson Public House & Kitchen have partnered with South Coast Distillery to create an awesome tasting gin.
Three Creeks Gin has been infused with aniseed myrtle, strawberry gum, dorrigo pepper AND it’s been distilled with pure Robbo spring water – soooo good.
It’s available exclusively at Robertson Public House, so swing by and give it a try.
Oh, and hey! Did you know Three Creeks was the name of Robertson before Robertson was Robertson? Love it!
And we’ve also used it in The Fold’s Christmas Cocktail – the Bong Bong Iced Tea – here’s the recipe!

11 :: There’s a special kids area
They have an awesome room where kids get creative and draw on the blackboards, jump on some video games, watch TV, have a crack at foosball and lots more.
Keep the kids while the parents kick back and relax. Win! Win!
12 :: They support their local community
The Robertson Public House & Kitchen are sponsors of the mighty Robertson Spuddies, the local rugby league club.
We love that they are giving back to their local community (and providing the perfect spot for post-game beers!).

So, there you go! We love this quirky, country pub that helps make Robertson an awesome town to live in or to visit in the Highlands.
Stay for a quick drink, long lunch, overnight or special occasion knowing that all your needs will be absolutely catered for.
Robertson Public House & Kitchen is open from 11am 7 days a week. Stop in for a visit, check out their website here or give the guys a buzz on 4885 1202 if you want to find out more about anything we’ve talked about!
