Going booze free has never looked tastier

Just because you’re skipping the spirits doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a tasty tipple in the Southern Highlands.

Mocktails are all the rage right now and we’ve rounded up a list of places all around town with flavours so exciting you won’t even notice they’re booze-free.

And as a bonus reward, there’ll be no sore heads tomorrow for you.

Sips away, peeps!

Bistro Sociale

1 // Briars Inn

Pop into the Throsby Bar and explore their fun mocktail options. On a sunny summer arvo, the Amalfi Spritz is perfect for relaxing in the pub courtyard. Keeping with the Italiano vibes, there’s the Amalfi Negroni. And then there’s the Refresher, a mix of pineapple, ginger ale, lime, cucumber, and soda. Yum!

2 // Berrima Vault House

It ain’t no secret we’re big fans of this gorgeous Highlands spot. Turns out, we’re also completely in love with their Nolos [mocktail] menu too.

With names like Cosnopolitan, Designated Margy, Burradon’t, Nogroni, and Amarett0.0 Sour, these drinks sound just as fun to sip as they do to say. Guess we’ll just have to try them all to find out… and since they’re alcohol-free, we totally can!

3 // Gin Trading Co at Bistro Sociale

You probably already know that Bistro Sociale at Berida Hotel serves up delish food and incredible drinks at their two bars. But did you know they also have an amazing mocktail menu?!

Head to the Gin Trading Co. bar for a fantastic range of booze-free, flavour-packed concoctions. We can’t get past the sound of the Caramel Apple Pie, and the Blackberry Smash is iconically springtime in the Highlands. Plus more!

4 // Flour Bar

Not only can you grab your coffee fix from morning to night here, but there’s also an awesome selection of non-alcoholic sparkling bevvies.

Say hello to Elderflower, Jasmine, Rose, and Butterfly Pea kombucha, along with organic Vintage Cola and other fresh and exciting drink flavours.

5 // Franquette Creperie

Mocktails on the menu? Oui Oui!

Non Martinis, Ginger Yuzus, Yuzu No Gins, Expressos and Popcorn Coffee…. Tres bon!

They’ve also got a whole vegan menu if you’re planning on skipping the meat and dairy as well.

6 // Mild To Spicy

All the classic faves like Mojito’s, Margaritas and Pina Coladas but made sans-alcohol. A great compliment to a menu filled with exciting Indian dishes.

7 // The Parting Glass

Stop by for a No’Groni and stay for the Cheese Board at this cocktail bar in Bowral.

They’ve also got 0% Peroni if you’re in the mood for a brewski.

8 // Leila’s At The Grand

Trust us when we say the Lebanese Lemonade here is divine! Fresh lemon, sugar syrup [not too sweet], loaded with fresh mint and topped off with soda water, what’s not to love?
Plus, we love all the authentic Lebanese cuisine on the menu. Find them inside The Grand Arcade in Bowral.

9 // Eden Brewery

Not quite a mocktail but still worth a mention, the house-made organic soft drinks at Eden Brewery are yummo-scrummo. We’re extra partial to the Strawberry Limeade but the Ginger Beer, Creaming Soda and Hop Water are also sip-alicious.
