While the weather’s getting chillier, our events calendar is only just starting to heat up for the start of winter.

We’re talking big-name musical acts, cosy outdoor festivals, and locals doing amazing things in their communities – and that’s just the tip of the (very frosty) iceberg when it comes to what’s on this June.

With over 280 events, workshops, performances and more, our Event Directory is bursting at the seams.

Dive into our June Must Do’s for a little inspo!

1:: BAROQUE BRILLIANCE // The Class of ’85 Concert

What do Scarlatti, Handel and Bach have in common? Besides all being total genius composers of classical music, they were all born in the same year – 1685. Yep, talk about a power class!

The Class of ’85 concert celebrates these three baroque giants in all their glorious, expressive, and imaginative brilliance. From Handel’s rich and regal Concerto Grosso in B flat major to Scarlatti’s luminous Salve Regina (featuring mezzo-soprano Hannah Fraser), and Bach’s breathtaking secular cantata Non sa che sia dolore with soprano Susannah Lawergren—this is a program for anyone who loves music that moves the soul.

Presented by Bach Akademie Australia at Bowral Memorial Hall on 1 June, this is one event your ears (and heart) will thank you for.

2:: FIRE UP THE FUN // Kangaroo Valley Bonfire Night

Get ready for a night of glowing embers, sparkling skies, and winter magic at the Kangaroo Valley Bonfire & Fireworks Festival this June Long Weekend.

Settle in fireside for a cosy evening and watch an epic fireworks display light up the valley, all while you sip on hearty soup, mulled wine  and soak up the sounds of live music from some local legends.

Just $17.50 per adult, kids under 12 FREE! Live tunes, face painting and hot chocs with marshmallows for the little ones – family fun sorted.

So pop on a jacket, pack your blankets, round up your crew and get cosy. Winter fun doesn’t get much better than this. Get your tickets here.
