Lori gives us a little preview of the projects she’s been working on recently and we’re heart eyes in love.

Lori Murray, the design wizard from March Twice Interiors in the Highlands, has some seriously cool projects brewing. We recently caught up with Lori and made her spill the beans on them and of course, share some gorgeous piccys too.

Wanna see what she’s been up to? Of course, you do!

So, let’s go!

First, let’s start with a bit of eye candy on one of Lori’s most recent projects. Just look at those wardrobe doors… dreamy!

We’re in love with it all. Can’t you just imagine yourself getting some very important work done right by this window? We sure can!

Honestly, we’re OBSESSED! And can you blame us? We’re totally picturing ourselves whipping up some serious kitchen magic here… or maybe just lounging beside while someone else does the cooking. We’re allowed to dream right?!

Lori and her team love working with local Highlands families on their homes and we love having them here for us too. March Twice Interiors is a full-service Interior Design Studio which means they provide end-to-end service.

Lori has your back from start to finish. We’re talking about diving deep into your initial plans, helping you select those top-notch materials and finishes, drawing up detailed room designs, picking out the furniture that is just right for your home and handling all the nitty-gritty talks with builders, suppliers, and more. The total package, really!

We’re totally vibing on the texture of these bathroom tiles. You can just tell they were carefully selected by Lori and her team with those detailed touches in mind.

And we’re majorly impressed with the blend of old and new in this lounge/ sitting room. Imagine curling up on that couch, good book, cuppa or glass of wine in hand… heck throw in a tasty little charcuterie board whilst we’re at it please.

We really dig Lori’s approach to designing her clients’ homes. She’s all about crafting spaces that blend gorgeous materials and finishes to create interiors that are both timeless and practical for everyday living. Yep, we see the vision!

Everything just seems so effortlessly stylish and each piece seems so complimentary of its surroundings. Lori and her team have a real passion for making home interiors beautiful and liveable and we know we’d be safe in her hands if it were our home under renos.

The spaces she creates give us warm cosy vibes but we can totally see the clients’ personalities coming through too. It’s a perfect blend of contemporary and classic that Highlanders can appreciate.

At the moment Lori and her team are working on a renovation of a heritage-listed property in Jamberoo that was actually built all the way back in 1858. She’s carefully selecting the finishes, materials and joinery designs to bring this beauty back to life in 2024 and we cannot wait to see the finished project. In the meantime, we’ll have to console ourselves by staring at / dreaming of soaking in this luxurious tub.

Or this one

Construction for another stunning old homestead along the coast is gearing up to kick off next year. This will be the second time around with Lori for these clients based in the Highlands; She previously teamed up with them for their Berrima home and we can guarantee it was a success, check it out here.

And if you’re just as curious to see these projects as we are, Lori will be posting lots of behind-the-scenes and sneak peeks on her socials so make sure to give her a follow.

So, if you’re thinking of teaming up with March Twice Interiors next year [yay!], it’s smart to hit up Lori sooner rather than later. The earlier you connect, the smoother their design magic can fit into your schedule.

Based in the Southern Highlands, March Twice Interiors is a residential Interior Design Studio, serving projects across the Southern Highlands and Sydney, NSW. Founded by Lori Murray, her approach avoids a singular “style,” instead prioritising each project’s unique elements—the client’s vision, home architecture, and surroundings.

Her work focuses on using top-notch materials, skilled craftsmanship, welcoming textures, and a timeless style. Reach out to Lori and her team via her website here [it’s also where you can sticky beak at other amazing projects they have completed].
