Come have a sneak peek with us inside this brilliant and beautiful home for sale in Burradoo

You all know one thing about us: if you invite us to peek inside your home, we’re definitely coming over!

So when Highland Property asked us if we would like to lay eyes on this STUNNING 1930s-style home for sale in Burradoo we were on our way before they finished talking. We even had a chance to hear from the current owners about why they love living in this place. It really helped us picture what it would be like to be lucky enough to call it home.

This place is like the perfect mix of modern family living with that historic Highlands feel we all love.  Have a look below, and we challenge you not to fall in love.

We began our tour in the garden because, honestly, it’s huge AND lovely. We made our way up the gorgeous winding driveway, and arrive at a completely secluded and peaceful oasis with plenty of outdoor spaces to relax in, and loads of room for the kids to just be, well, kids.

The current owners told us they loved the garden areas because they were perfect for human children as well as their fur babies.

“It’s an ideal park-like garden for the dogs and kids to play. It’s even become a meeting place for our youngest daughters’ school friends. There’s so much space for them to run and have fun.”

But what about the grown-ups? Oh, did we hear someone mention a fire pit?  We can absolutely imagine ourselves out here on a Highlands evening.

“Friday nights around the fire pit with friends has become a tradition. We can get as loud and joyful as we like because we are so far away from the neighbours.”

Aww, we’re a bit bummed we’ve never experienced a Friday night here, but let’s just stare at this picture and pretend, alright?

And they’re absolutely spot-on about having a jolly time without bothering the neighbours—just take a look at all that space!

And speaking of jolly, can you imagine hosting your next Chrissy party here like the current owners do? and if so can you invite us?

“We loved hosting our annual Christmas party here for our family and friends, it’s a really special time.”

Ok let’s take a look at the actual outside of the house closer up and some of the Highlands history that comes with it.

“When we bought the house we immediately fell in love with the wainscoting in the original section of the homestead – takes you right back to where Wandarrie began almost 100 years ago.”

Yep, we love it too!

Shall we step inside? Come on, we’re all just itching to take a lookie-loo!

Alright, we’re impressed!

“People often remark that it’s a true family home and that they feel very welcome and loved as soon as they set foot through the door.”

We just had to ask the owners about their favourite things inside the home.

They said, “One of our absolute favourite pastimes is soaking in the bathtub in the front bathroom with the view of the rose and maple gardens.”

Um, yeah, we totally understand why!

“We also love the cosy dining nook in the kitchen. It’s become the family meeting place – for intimate dinners, homework and chats after school and of course Sunday morning pancakes.”

“Oh, and we just adore the stunning light that floods into the sunroom each morning. It’s the best place to enjoy that first coffee before the rest of the house wakes up.”

“It’s also such a special place to be in the colder seasons. The mood lighting, fireplaces, and hydronic heating. For us, there is no place more cosy than Wandarrie on a cold winter’s night.”

We could imagine ourselves spending many a night here, regardless of season. Just check out a few of the 6 bedrooms that are inside the home.

Alright, before we head out, let’s just take one more look around.

One last look at the kitchen.

And some of the bathrooms

Aaaaand any other places around the home we just wanna take one last peek at.

Okay, we admit it, we’re in love. It’s gorgeous and welcoming inside and out and it’s such a good location. Burradoo has such a leafy and quiet vibe but is still close to the hustle and bustle of downtown Bowral.

If you’re just as ‘heart-eyed’ over this home as we are then you’ll be delighted to hear that it’s currently on the market with Highland Property in Bowral. Reach out to Corina Nesci from Highland Property on 0416 523 155 to find out more and arrange an inspection for yourself.

And hey, if you happen to become the lucky new owners, pretty please invite us over for a Friday fire pit session—we’ll bring the wine!
