Fall In Love With Links House, A Hidden Gem In The Highlands
By Alana Kaye
Pssst! We want to let you in on what we reckon is one of the best kept secrets in the Highlands… Links House in Burradoo.
If you’ve been looking for a new brekkie spot, a place to have a bite for lunch or somewhere to put your feet up with an after-work cocktail, we reckon get yourself along to Links House.
Built in 1928 as a guesthouse, Links House is a quirky, charming establishment that overlooks the rolling green of Bowral Golf Club.
Talk about serene!
It has a beautiful, warm and friendly vibe – you know, the kind that makes you feel like you’re catching up at a friend’s place? That.
And it’s tucked away on Links Road, just a hop, skip and a jump from the hustle and bustle from Bowral’s main street, with loads of parking out the back – too easy!

So what’s available during the day at Links House? And why should you visit?
Links Café is open from 7:30am daily for all your morning lift-off needs – we’re talking delicious, caffeinated drinks and yummy light bites.
They’re also licensed from 9am, so if a breakfast cocktail is your thing [or a recovery / medicinal Bloody Mary is required], head on in.
The food menu changes daily depending on what’s in season, but there’s always a selection of freshly made cakes, yummo treats, biscuits and muffins on offer.
You can guarantee it’s fresh – a major part of the food philosophy here is using the best local and seasonal produce.

Hit up the café every day for lunch and treats.
Or pop into Ethos Restaurant [part of Links House and just across the hall from Links Café] for a light lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday, or settle in for a delicious a la carte lunch Thursday to Saturday.
