Nestled in the hills of the Southern Highlands, the charming village of Bundanoon is a quaint hamlet with a distinct Scottish ambience. Tree-lined streets and historic sandstone buildings framed in cherry blossoms. Situated on the doorstep of Morton National Park, it provides abundant opportunities to connect with nature, all while being just an hour and a half from the hustle and bustle of city life.  You can follow bushwalking and cycling trails, enjoy the spectacle of the Bundanoon Highland Gathering festival or sit-back and soak in the peace and serenity.

For a small village, Bundanoon offers plenty of choices for places to eat, with quality restaurants and cafes. Visit The historic Bundanoon Hotel, a classic country pub built in 1922 and surrounded by superb gardens. Bowling club, sports fields, walking tracks and open spaces are a feature of Bundanoon life.

Pre-school, childcare, primary school, school bus service for secondary schools [private and public].

Bundanoon has two full-time medical clinics, Allied Health centre (chiropractor, massage and acupuncture) pharmacy, Australia Post, veterinary facility, social services, retirement opportunities and large nursing home.

The locals simply refer to their village as `Bundy’.

Elevation – 675 mtrs above sea level

Bundanoon offers a diverse range of properties from small 700m2 blocks to large acreage, suitable for those starting out, slowing down or seeking the ultimate tree change.

In April 2025, Bundanoon had 18 properties available for rent and 63 properties for sale.

Median sold prices over the last year is $1,095,000 for houses.

If you are looking for an investment property, consider houses in Bundanoon rent out for $700 PW with an annual rental yield of 3.0%.

Bundanoon has seen an annual compound growth rate of -0.5% for houses. A recent residential development, The Yards, sold out in quick time, demonstrating the popularity of Bundanoon real estate opportunities, featuring quality supply of luxury and family-style accommodation.
