The Southern Highlands property market at a glance
Thinking of buying or selling your Southern Highlands property? Here’s a quick industry breakdown of prices for `average’ house and land purchases.
As of the second week of June 2025, industry sources* indicate that there are:
A total of some 750 properties for sale, of which:
- 515 residential house & land
- 45 rural properties
- 200 `other’ real estate opportunities such as land, units etc
- The average house prices in the Southern Highlands, NSW, vary by town. Bowral/Burradoo generally has the highest prices, followed by Bundanoon, Mittagong, Moss Vale and Hill Top.
Bowral: The median house price in Bowral is around $1.5 million
Bundanoon: The median house price in Bundanoon is around $1,090,000 to $1,095,000
Mittagong: The median house price in Mittagong is around $1,025,000
Moss Vale: The median house price in Moss Vale is around $982,500
Hill Top: The median house price in Hill Top is $850,000
