We’re BIG fans of shopping local.
But sometimes it can be tricky to get to the shops (particularly with kids in tow) or if you’re crazy busy.
And plenty of us are still wanting to avoid the crowds and keep socially distant which is totally understandable after the last couple of years!
Here’s some good news, though – plenty of our local stores ended up adding online shopping to their service offering because of the pandemic so now more than ever, we have stacks of options for still shopping local but doing it online.

1. If the store is offering to do the wrapping for you, SAY YES! And get a gift tag too if they are offering. You’ll be thanking yourself when you have one less gift to wrap Christmas Eve when you are sitting on the lounge room floor with a pile of presents and rolls and rolls of wrapping paper!
2. Get onto the shopping (online or instore that is) before school breaks up! Trying to find time once the kids are with you 24/7, never happens!
