If you liked it and you put a ring on it and now you’re planning your dream wedding, the Southern Highlands has a huge range of wedding venue options to suit any style, size, budget and couple.
From sprawling vineyards and charming historic inns through to flower farms and boutique art hotels, it’s easy to see why the Southern Highlands is one of THE most popular places in NSW to get hitched and part-ayyyy afterwards!
Here’s some of our favourites!
1 :: THE WINERY WEDDING Bendooley Estate
The wedding vibe is high at Bendooley Estate!
First of all, it’s just so darn romantic with its stunning buildings, rolling hills of vineyards, gorgeous garden and lake, and the iconic book store.
Then there’s the two beautiful venues to choose from – The Book Barn with its roaring fireplace, shelves and shelves of books and cosy, country atmosphere or the rural glamour of The Stables with soaring ceilings, uninterrupted views to the hills, the iron fireplace, and the chandeliers hanging from exposed beams……all so stunning!
Oh, and you can have your ceremony at Bendooley Estate too! In the gardens, at the Lakeside Pavilion or at The Homestead which is a Georgian building surrounded by big, beautiful trees and European style gardens.
And don’t get us started on the food……..ah. may. zing.
Bendooley Estate has totally got the whole country vineyard wedding experience goin’ on.

2 :: RUSTIC ROMANCE Robertson Public House & Kitchen
Okay…picture this…..long tables loaded with florals and food, festoon lights hanging from beautiful wooden exposed beams twinkling above your wedding guests, the rustic charm of wooden floorboards and country style decor…..Robertson Public House & Kitchen do country weddings with style and charm!
AND there’s a private garden for the ceremony too.

3 :: AL FRESCO CELEBRATIONS Burrawang Village Hotel
With one of the best views in the Highlands, tie the knot in the gardens overlooking the water [yep! Water views in the Highlands IS a thing!], then settle in under the beautiful trees in the beer garden or by the fire in the marquee if it’s chilly, for al fresco celebrations at the Burrawang Village Hotel.
And the quaint village of Burrawang will get your photographer VERY excited….so many wonderful photo opp spots.

4 :: CLASSIC CHARM Peppers Craigieburn
With indoor and outdoor options, established gardens, a golf course and the grandeur of a stunning period property, Peppers Craigieburn is ideal for a classic white wedding.
Start with a garden ceremony then move guests to the games lawn for pre-dinner drinks before heading into Hickory’s Restaurant for a sumptuous feast, and lots of bubbles and wine to celebrate saying ‘I do’!

5 :: BARN LOVE Growwild Flower Farm
You don’t have to look far for your wedding florals when you get married at a flower farm!
Set on 25 acres, this is a beautiful spot to celebrate with family and friends.
Choose from a rustic barn wedding – we LOVE a good barn! – or head into the beautiful marquee, via the fairy lit patio for pre-reception drinks and nibbles, with views across the flower farm.
Super romantic and super Highlands.

6 :: HERITAGE LUXE Berrima Vault House
Berrima Vault House weddings are charming and bespoke.
Whether you’re drawn to the atmospheric vibe of The Cells or the classic beauty of the Rose Garden, each spot has its own special feel to match what you’re after.
Berrima Vault House is where high-end heritage meets contemporary luxe and you will be guaranteed a unique, curated wedding experience for everyone involved.

7 :: INTIMATELY UNIQUE The Pill Factory
Fancy getting married in a quirky sandstone European Gastof-style building? Doesn’t everybody???
The Pill Factory in Bundanoon hosts fun weddings full of character and personality for intimate groups and there’s plenty of accommodation too.
There’s something quite special about this place. It’s almost like it becomes one of the guests, as weird as that sounds! It just has so much character.

8 :: EXQUISITE ELOPEMENTS Moss Manor
This stunning new boutique art hotel in Moss Vale is ideal for stylish and exquisite micro-weddings and elopements.
With beautiful art adorning the walls, a contemporary makeover of a Georgian building, sculptures in the gardens and the most delightful staff, Moss Manor is a place where the loved up couple can really escape and cocoon themselves in the warmth and peace they’ll encounter at this special place.
You won’t want to leave your room!

9 :: COUNTRY STYLE The Conservatory at Briars
Celebrate everything love at stunning property! With sprawling lawns, a charming lake, and a magical willow tree, The Conservatory offers an ideal backdrop for your ceremony, reception, and wedding photos.
We also love the fact that there is plenty of accommodation onsite AND that Briars Inn next door can host plenty of pre and post wedding shindigs too.

10 :: OLD WORLD GLAMOUR Robertson Hotel
Built in the 1920’s, this grand old dame of Southern Highlands hotels is stylish and elegant with a side of old world glamour.
Perfect in any season [although we love how magical it gets in winter!], there’s the Dining Room, the Ballroom or outdoor marquee options available for the reception.
The gardens are crazy romantic and the decor makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time or onto a movie set of a period drama.

11 :: NATURAL CONNECTION Wildwood Kangaroo Valley
Wildwood Kangaroo Valley is as close to Mother Earth as you can get with a subtropical rainforest on the grounds, enveloped by the native bush and national parks, and the dramatic sandstone escarpment looming above.
They’re all about being eco-friendly too so a great match for those that love the planet as much as they love each other!
It’s all a bit magical here……
