International Women’s Day In The Southern Highlands

Gatherings, breakfasts, creative workshops and meaningful conversations across the region this March
SHARE

International Women’s Day is just around the corner, and the Southern Highlands is coming together in some really special ways.

Each year on March 8th, communities across the world recognise the achievements of women – socially, culturally, economically and politically – while also shining a light on the work still to be done.

Here in the Highlands, that shows up as sold-out breakfasts, thoughtful panel discussions, long lunches, creative workshops and grassroots events that feel genuinely connected to our community.

It’s not just about dressing up and heading to a single event. It’s about backing local women in business, supporting organisations doing powerful work, and creating space for honest conversations that actually matter.

If you’ve been meaning to get more involved locally, support women-led initiatives or simply sit in a room full of thoughtful, driven, inspiring people – this is your reminder.

We’ve pulled together the International Women’s Day events happening across the Southern Highlands so you can find something that feels like a good fit. Bring your team, bring your mum, bring a mate – or head along solo and meet someone new.

Because when the Highlands community shows up for women, it really does make an impact.

House & Land Packages – Easy Choice Or Hidden Obstacles?
Property

The Southern Highlands features a number of large and smaller land developments in the Moss Vale, Bowral and Mittagong areas. These are commonly known as `greenfield’ developments and feature master planned infrastructure – such as below-ground power, internet cabling, water and gas already installed and ready to go.

Builders and developers also take advantage of these greenfield opportunities by offering house & land packages – a sort-of `off-the-shelf’ option.
