Spend a relaxed day and take a seat on a Spoon Maker's Horse in a small friendly class of six or less and create your own heirloom wooden cooking spoon from seasoned timber with easy to use vintage hand tools.
Be confident with guidance from your qualified instructor, Byron Roberts owner of Kyeamba Valley Woodworks, who will guide you through the process of shaping a raw piece of wood into a beautiful finished spoon you will use to cook meals for your friends and family for years to come.
You have the option of starting with a pre-cut spoon blank, or for the more adventurous you can start with a carpenters axe and a piece of wood. All safety gear supplied.
Morning tea and afternoon tea are provided with some delicious treats and tea and coffee.
