Haddon Rig is a 65,000 acre property with extensive wildlife and fauna, over 8 natural water collection points, including swamps, wetlands, natural waterways, and rivers.
The station includes a 10-bed accommodation facility, build in the 1930s, full of historical artefacts and collectibles. Haddon Rig is a 130 year old famous, Merino Stud, one of Australia's premier leading Studs for genetics and the quality of Merino wool.
Haddon Rig has multiple indigenous landmarks across the country, including scar trees, indigenous markings, indigenous artefacts and meeting points. Haddon Rig has abundant native wildlife, including cockatoos, kookaburras, kangaroos, pelicans, emus, eagles, Northern Territory magpie geese, brolgas, echidnas. Also featured are multiple walking trails, horse-riding, bike riding and run farming tours. Haddon Rig is a major operator and employer in the region, with 18 full time employees and 15 casuals.
