Corella Creek Country Farm Stay 'return to a simpler place in time', is located in the vast grasslands of McKinlay Shire, surrounded by cattle stations and huge outback spaces.
It is a simple , friendly stop over to enjoy big skies, open views and relax. The campground is under trees or open to sunlight and a cottage guesthouse accommodates 1 - 12 visitors . RV's, cars, vans or bikes welcome.
Individuals and groups staying in the farmhouse cottage guesthouse have free breakfast and artesian baths included. A gourmet dinner on the deck menu is from Queensland and Australian ingredients, some indigenous, seafood from the Gulf of Carpentaria, and vegetables grown on the property meat from within a 100km radius.
Meet and greet orphaned baby kangaroos. Many native birds are onsite and at a close small wetland. Kids will love meeting and feeding the goat herd families.
Three thermal artesian water relaxation options include the free 'The baths in the paddock'. This is a 2-person plunge pool that can be booked or the plunge pool on the deck for inhouse guests only. The thermal waters are best experienced under stars, sunset and early morning. Enjoy nightly large campfires and discover homesteading/outback farm life.
A small onsite art gallery has exhibitions from April thru September and printmaking, eco botanical dying or homesteading skill workshops are on offer.
