Take a quiet side-track from the Warrego Highway or New England Highway to find the hamlet of Kingsthorpe. Kingsthorpe is just a 15-minute panoramic drive west of Toowoomba.

Kingsthorpe features a number of parks with recreation areas, play equipment, and amenities, including Rosalie Walk, Settlers Park, Village Green, and Stoney Ridge Park. The Recreational Reserve has a large sporting oval, tennis courts, picnic facilities with an electric barbecue, and a clubhouse with a canteen and amenities.

Stop at Mt Kingsthorpe Park where a graded walking track from the lookout’s car park takes visitors to the summit, which provides expansive views across the Darling Downs.
