Description
Yarraman Station Park, located at the former Yarraman train station site, offers a blend of historical significance and outdoor recreation. While the original station building has been relocated to the Yarraman Heritage Centre, the park retains the old station sign and serves as a starting point for the Weir Trail Circuit—a 2.26 km loop featuring interpretive signs about the area's railway history. Additionally, the park connects to the 161 km Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, providing opportunities for walking, cycling, and horse riding through diverse landscapes.
Facilities at Yarraman Station Park include parking, picnic tables, shelters, toilets, and horse stables. Visitors should note that there is no drinking water available on-site, so it's advisable to bring your own. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash. Situated approximately 120 km north of Toowoomba, the park is accessible via Browne Street, which turns into Millar Street, leading directly to the park entrance.
