Strathalbyn High Street features a unique collection of antique shops, boutiques offering homewares, crystals, crafts and witchcraft interspersed with cafes, pubs an Original Lolly shop and a museum.
The elegant town hall and iconic Commercial Hotel bookend the western side of the cobblestone street and have witnessed over one hundred and fifty years of local history including royal visits, tragic deaths and a bull in a china shop.
The eastern side of the street is bookended by the Robin Hood Hotel celebrating 150 years of service and Gilbert's Motor Museum occupying the site of Gilbert's Motors which served the town for 118 years.
Local legend motorcyclist Ken Blake is memorialised with a unique statue on High Street opposite the Robin Hood and the motor museum has a display of Ken Blake memorabilia.
