Description
Goldsmith’s Campground is located approximately 10km from Edithburgh, including 8km of unsealed road, via Wattle Point Road and Heel Road. Goldsmith’s Beach is visible from the campground and is a great spot for swimming, snorkelling, fishing, kayaking and beach walking. The beach is mostly sand, but a reef is nearby and the seaweed can build up at times.
The sites are unallocated but well defined and suitable to large vans. A toilet is provided, but self-sufficient camping is encouraged. The closest bin bank is in Edithburgh, on Sultana Point Drive, across from the Caravan Park.
Edithburgh is a historical coastal town with facilities including – café’s, general store, 2 hotels, museum, local crafts, public toilets, petrol station, jetty, boat ramp and shops.
