Description
Wauraltee Campground is located approximately 27km from Minlaton along Spencer Highway, left onto Wauraltee Road and left onto Wauraltee Beach Road.
The campground is over a large area with level sites tucked in between vegetation and sand dunes. The dunes are a fragile environment and so visitors are asked to stay in designated areas only. A toilet is provided but self-contained camping is still recommended. Toileting in the dunes is strictly prohibited.
The closest bin bank is at Minlaton. The closest dump point is also at the Minlaton Oval. Minlaton has many facilities, including: a supermarket, pharmacy, hotel, petrol station, police station, ATMs, various shops, skate park, playground, Visitor Information Outlet and much more.
NOTE: The nearby Wauraltee Beach is not part of the Wauraltee Bush Campground. The beach area is Crownland and thus under different rules and jurisdiction. Please do not camp on the beach without researching current rules.
