Description
Located approximately 48km from Warooka, Daly Head Bush Campground is accessed via White Hut Road, Marion Bay Road, and Daly Head Road. Please note that Daly Head Road is unsealed and can become corrugated.
The turn from Daly Head Road into the campground is sharp, so larger caravans are advised to either take the corner wide or continue to the nearby Surfing Reserve Carpark to turn around safely. Once inside, you'll find spacious sites and be rewarded with breathtaking views over the crystal-clear waters and white sands of Blue Bay.
This campground is an ideal base for surfing, fishing, swimming, and long beach walks. However, swimmers should be aware that rips are present in the area—beginners are advised to stay in the shallows, and even experienced swimmers should exercise caution.
While a toilet is provided, campers are encouraged to be self-sufficient. The nearest bin bank is located at Gleesons Landing Campground, just nearby. For fuel, supplies, or a visit to the tavern, Marion Bay is the closest town. Alternatively, stock up in Warooka on your way through—it offers a range of facilities including a supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, petrol station, hotel, and a Visitor Information Outlet.
