Tour of Bright - Criterium and Markets, VIC

The Tour of Bright is one of Australia's most iconic cycling events, held in the beautiful alpine township of Bright, Victoria. Across three unforgettable days, the Tour brings together around 500 riders from across the country to test themselves on some of the most scenic and challenging roads in Australia.

The event opens on Friday evening with a fast-paced Criterium through Bright's town centre, creating an electric atmosphere for both riders and spectators, with market vendors and music, completing the exciting atmosphere for all. Saturday sees two stages: the legendary Gaps Loop road race, featuring the climbs of Rosewhite and Tawonga Gaps, followed by a precision Time Trial in the Buckland Valley. On Sunday, the tour reaches its spectacular finale with a summit finish atop Mount Buffalo Chalet, offering breathtaking views and a true test of endurance.

Supported by the Alpine Cycling Club and powered by hundreds of local volunteers, the Tour of Bright is more than just a race, it's a celebration of community, sport and the alpine environment.
