Description
The Mark Fitzgibbon Trio with special guests bring in the Wangaratta Jazz and Blues Festival.
Set up on the outdoor stage, this cocktail style event is set up as a meet and greet function where patrons, organisers, sponsors, artists all mix and match over the fine finger food of The Rail Yard Café.
Clayton Doley is the original organ crooner, singing standards as well as his own funky blues hits, all the while dazzling audiences far and wide with his fierce and fiery Hammond virtuosity. Take a seat and enjoy this show over dinner and drinks. Don't worry, there is also a dance floor.
Think equal parts Jimmy Smith, Wes Montgomery, and Frank Sinatra, paying homage to the iconic Blue Note organ trio masters while seamlessly merging nostalgia and innovation to the hits of the popular crooners.
Clayton has toured all over the world and played his original music at some of the biggest blues and jazz festivals on the planet including the Byron Bay Blues Festival and the Montreal Jazz Festival to name a few. Please let Clayton and his special guests take you on a soulful journey to the future and the past simultaneously as they add a modern Australian edge to the 60's New York Soul Jazz sound that is both unique and exciting.
