Description
Good friends, Bernadette Wilson and Cairi Batch, have collaborated to create a combined ABC Exhibition of their artwork in Gallery 127 in October.
Bernadette has always been a maker, and from a young age explored different crafts. In her adult life she was drawn to Australia's vast landscapes and gathered a vast array of photographs as she travelled through Western Australia and Northern Territory. These photos inspired her paint.
Cairi's passion is the fluidity and unpredictability of the ocean. Her work dances between abstraction and water-inspired themes, often drenched in the blues and greens of her annual pilgrimage to the coast.
