Description
Nestled between the Great Southern Rail Trail and iconic Wilsons Prom, you’ll find this little vineyard growing the delicious and distinguished Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
As mainland Australia’s southernmost winery, stretched across the rolling green hills of Fish Creek, their vines - originally planted in the mid 90s - enjoy a cool, maritime climate. Whilst the humans enjoy the beautiful views they grow in.
When they’re not admiring the view, they’re tending to each row by hand. Employing more traditional and natural viticultural practices across our eight acres, including the use of a rainfall-only watering program.
From this low-intervention albeit hands-on approach, we enjoy cool-climate wines that offer a beautiful expression of their unique, South Gippsland terra and the season it ripened through.
Once an old tractor shed is the Waratah Hills cellar door and kitchen. You’re welcome to enjoy their various varieties and vintages of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Blanc de Noir, and Rose – by the glass, bottle, or over a tasting. As well as the iconic Fish Creek Gin.
Peruse the seasonal lunch menu too; featuring local, fresh produce from the gardens and from neighbouring Gippsland producers.
Relax on the grassy lawn, get cosy in the courtyard and casual dining room, or book the whole place for a private event.
Doggo, wheelchair, and family friendly.
