Located on Frankland-Cranbrook Road in Cranbrook, Wongin Mia is a carbon farm participating in the Gondwana Link project.
Spanning 400 acres of revegetated bushland and 100 acres of remnant bush along a winter creek, it offers an ideal environment for bird watchers.
The property showcases wildflowers year-round, with an abundance of orchids and wildflowers during the spring months. Nature enthusiasts will be delighted by the diverse wildlife.
The campsite is level and grassy, catering to self-contained campers equipped with their own camping toilet, shower, and drinking water supply.
Campfires are permitted during winter, with ample kindling available, although guests need to bring their firewood.
Situated approximately an hour's drive north of Albany and 300 kilometres south of Perth, Wongin Mia is conveniently close to attractions such as the Stirling Range National Park, Porongurup National Park, Frankland wine district, and Lake Poorrarecup. It serves as an excellent base for exploring the picturesque surrounding area.
