As Design Director and Founder of DONOHOE, I am passionate about creating an elegant point of difference for women who seek unique, chic and timeless clothing.

My journey to fashion design is a little different. I’ve spent the past 30 years building a career in IT management and working as a consultant to many of Australia’s leading organisations on a variety of large-scale, multi-million dollar projects. I’ve held many senior management roles and well understand the realities and challenges facing working women.

My transition to fashion design overlapped the past 20 years of my IT career and was born out of sheer frustration with the clothing choices available to me as a professional woman. For me, the market offered so very little value in terms of quality garments appropriate to a management role and a lack of style to reflect my own persona.

My passion has always been to combine style, function and absolute quality. Nothing less was acceptable to me in my clothing choices and my own label had to embrace those values. I’m pleased with where it is now because it so beautifully captures the imagination and loyalty of our clients.

I am now fully engaged with DONOHOE and also fully focused on fashioning a label of quality that women really value.
