GROW Southern Highlands has been helping local businesses connect for aaaaages.
They focus on bringing hospitality, creative, farming, and professional businesses together across the Highlands.
At their events, members get to meet, swap ideas, and learn from each other. It’s a simple way to build connections, find support, and be part of a community of people who are growing their businesses together.

The Country Women’s Association
The Country Women’s Associations play such a special role in our community. They’re a place to meet, learn new skills, share ideas, and get involved in projects. From cooking and crafts to fundraising and local events, CWAs help women get together, support each other, and make a real difference in the Highlands.
Their local branch meets on the first Thursday of every month, 6.30 to 8.30 pm, at the CWA Rooms in Winifred West Park on Main Street, Mittagong.

VIEW is a network of women supporting The Smith Family and children facing disadvantage.
Members fundraise, volunteer, sponsor students, and advocate for educational equality.
By getting involved in events, volunteering, and spreading the word, VIEW women make a real difference, helping kids do well at school, shape brighter futures, and make great friends along the way.
The Southern Highlands club is always open to new members and meets monthly at Mittagong RSL Club.

The Southern Highlands Older Women’s Network (SHOWN) focuses on giving women over 55 a voice and a place to belong.
They talk openly about the real issues older women face, things like housing, isolation, and financial pressure, while offering support, friendship, and fun through regular meetups, walks, book clubs, and creative catch-ups.
Adventurous Women Who Walk
This friendly group of women makes it easy to meet new people while enjoying the great outdoors.
Run by volunteers, it’s all about connection, conversation, and a shared love of adventure.
Walks range from bush trails and coastal strolls to river crossings and cave explorations, with options for every fitness level.
KJ Growth is run by local Katherine, a business coach who helps service-based entrepreneurs grow without the stress.
Katherine hosts Growth Walks for small business owners to move, chat, and network. Keep an eye on her socials for the next one.

We love this as a fun, unique way to meet locals, network, and get crafty.
