Highlands Theatre Group Inc. was incorporated on 16th June 1994, its object being:

Provide and encourage live entertainment, performance and training opportunities for the Southern Highlands and adjoining communities.

It is managed as an amateur theatre group by a committee of members, none of whom receive any remuneration. We are governed by our Highlands Theatre Group Constitution which was ratified at a Special General Members Meeting on the 20th of December 2021. Performers, our orchestra, and off-stage crew are unpaid members and volunteers. We are very proud of the professionalism and dedication of all these people, who make up the Highlands’ Leading Amateur Theatre Group. We are also grateful to our long-term supporters and sponsors.
